Q.

How is a typical onsite collection process conducted?

A.

In performing drug testing at a remote location or point of collection, our Certified Professional Collectors ensure that the devices are stored according to the manufacturers’ instructions, so that the specimen is stored within the appropriate temperature range and that the devices have not exceeded their expiration date. The Collector must also ensure that the donor is not present while performing the test; and lastly, the Colletor must send the results to the employer and MRO using a results reporting form. Additionally, our Collectors ensure that supplies are available if another specimen is needed to send to the laboratory, in the event of a non-negative result.
